The Trilite is a compact fluorescent light with fittings for up to three 8W tubes. One tube is fitted in this model, making it the most efficient of the range at only 8W power consumption. Up to two more tubes can be added if desired, please see the drop-down options above. The electronic inverter adjusts to the number of tubes fitted, so the unit will continue to work even if one of the tubes begins to fail - not that that should happen often, as the tubes are rated for 10,000 hours!
The shade on the Trilite has an attractive prismatic pattern on the inside which helps to diffuse the light evenly, while the outside is smooth to prevent dirt accumulation. The fixing screws are hidden out of sight underneath, and the rocker switch is positioned flush on the top.
